Shioi's Contrades Begins Second Term as CAK President

Shioi Construction Project Manager Jacquelyn Contrades was recently sworn in for her second term as the Contactor's Association of Kauai (CAK) Board President.

Contrades leads the Board comprised of Demetrio Tolentino, a project engineer with Jas. W. Glover, as first vice president chair; Alicia Leong, corporate secretary with Ka‘iwa Construction, as immediate past president; Nathan Konishi, co-owner of Pacific Blue Construction, as second vice president; Jerry Nishek, the general manager of Kaua‘i Nursery and Landscaping, as secretary, and Koa Duncan, a project specialist with the Grove Farm Company, as treasurer. Other CAK Board members include Joni Hamada-Patricio, co-owner of HAMCO Glass &Glazing; Matt Reves, project manager with Earthworks Pacific; Trinette Kaui, area manager and Principal Broker with Alexander &Baldwin; and Fred Pascual, Distribution Planning Supervisor at the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative.

Shioi Construction is a proud member of the CAK, which was established in 1957 as a trade association of licensed contractors, suppliers, and businesses affiliated with the construction industry on Kaua‘i.
